By using Pump Scout (the "App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App provides fuel price information, community-submitted price tools, leaderboard features, and related tools. Availability and accuracy may vary.
The App may create an anonymous account for usage limits and service functions. If you choose to sign in with Apple, your account will be linked to your Apple ID. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
Certain features, including community price submissions and leaderboard participation, require Sign in with Apple.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings -> Account -> Delete Account. Deletion is permanent.
"Eagle Scout" is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in App Store -> Subscriptions. Prices may change; Apple will notify you.
The App displays ads. Some features (such as extra searches) may be granted in exchange for viewing ads. Abuse or manipulation of ad rewards may result in removal of access to those features.
If you tap the location button and grant permission, the App may use your device location to determine a nearby ZIP code or city/state for searching. You can disable location access at any time in iOS Settings.
If you submit a community price, the App may use your device location at the time of submission to verify that you are near the station and to prevent abuse.
Community price submissions and leaderboard participation are subject to anti-abuse and moderation rules. We may require authentication, app integrity checks, and location verification to accept submissions or award points.
Leaderboard points, rankings, badges, streaks, and related rules may change over time, may be reset by season/week, and may be corrected if we detect fraud, abuse, or data errors.
We may reject, remove, or ignore submissions that appear inaccurate, abusive, automated, duplicated, or otherwise inconsistent with fair use of the App.
If you create a leaderboard username, you are responsible for that username and your use of it in the App. Usernames must not impersonate others, infringe rights, or contain abusive, hateful, harassing, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate content.
We may reject, remove, rename, or restrict usernames at our discretion, including reserved names, misleading names, or names that violate these Terms. Usernames are provided on a first-come basis and are not guaranteed to remain available.
You may not misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, bypass limits, spoof location, automate abuse, or manipulate leaderboard/community features.
Fuel price, station data, and community-submitted information are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or fitness for any purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pump Scout is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
