ScriptureDaily Privacy Policy

ScriptureDaily is provided by Alex Flores ("ScriptureDaily"). This policy explains what information is collected and how it is used.
- App preferences stored on your device (for example: selected translation, onboarding choices, saved verses).
- In-app purchase status through Apple StoreKit. Apple handles payment details and provides us transaction status.
- Advertising data from Google AdMob (for example: device identifiers such as IDFA, IP address, app usage and ad interaction data, and basic device information).
- Content delivery data from third parties (for example: images loaded from Unsplash at
source.unsplash.com, which may receive your IP address and device information).
- Provide core app functionality and personalization based on your on-device settings.
- Show ads to free users and measure ad performance.
- Process purchases and enable premium features.
- Comply with legal requirements (including consent where required).
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data with:
- Google (AdMob / User Messaging Platform) to serve and measure ads.
- Apple for in-app purchase processing.
- Unsplash for image delivery.
Each provider may process data according to their own privacy policies.
Your Choices
- You can upgrade to Premium to disable ads.
- You can manage ad consent in the app (Profile -> Privacy & Ads) where available.
- iOS may show the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; you can allow or deny tracking in system settings at any time.
Revoking Consent
You can change or withdraw ad consent at any time:
- Open the app and go to Profile -> Privacy & Ads -> Manage Privacy Options.
- If you cannot access the app, contact us and we can help.
Children
ScriptureDaily is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will address it.
Data Retention
Local settings remain on your device until you remove the app or reset its data. Advertising and purchase data are retained by Google and Apple according to their policies.
International Transfers
Google and Apple may process data in the United States and other countries.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above.
